Pleated Silk One-Shoulder Dress

Extended Legs Mannequin
-Inseam (to ankle): 33"
Hand pleated, asymmetrical silk one-shoulder dress by Patricia Lester. Lustrous silk is accordion pleated and dyed by hand, transforming the fabric into a fluid, effortless, slight trapeze silhouette. Pullover style silk bound neckline gracefully drapes across the body, ending in a midi length. Slight variations in color throughout, appearing as striped washes due to dying technique. We would wear lightly cinched with a chain belt to define the waist, channeling our inner Grecian goddess. Oil slick black.
-Condition: Excellent / Very Good
*Spot on neck piping near center front (pictured); not immediately noticeable, may be from variations in the hand-dyed silk. Extra-long shoulder strap appears to have been added to the garment (pictured); can be left on or removed. Very small pinholes in rows along neckline, it looks as though rows of stitching were removed- we believe it to be part of the secretive pleating process by Patricia and Charles Lester (pictured); holes not immediately noticeable due to pleats.
