Sweet fringed dress by Albert Nipon is a fun and classic cocktail piece. A graceful bateau neckline and padded cap sleeves makes the perfect backdrop for a tiered fringe bodice. The raw silk body contrasts with shiny silk thread fringe, accented with a long tasseled waist tie. Clean button-lined back with fabric loops and hook-and-eye closures keeps the focus on the fringe. Fully lined with a small back vent in the skirt. We would wear with a square-tie block heel in a fun contrast color and finish with a printed Pucci bag for maximum impact- but would be excited to wear this piece to our backyard wedding with a small netted fascinator and little pearl lucite box bag.
