COVID-19 Shipping Updates

In light of the current carrier service interruptions due to COVID-19, we have updated our shipping policies. For domestic orders we are offering a $5 flat rate shipping promotion, in addition to UPS ground and expedited services for an additional cost.
We have upgraded all international orders to ship via UPS or DHL at your preference.
Orders are carefully packed, processed, and prepared for shipment within 1 business day of receiving your order.
- Insurance is available upon request; please leave us a note in the special instructions section when placing your order.
- Recess is not responsible for incurred customs fees or packages lost in the mail. Please contact us at email@example.com within 14 days of your purchase date with any issues or inquiries regarding your delivery.
USPS: Some USPS post offices are closed, and some mail classes have extended their expected delivery times, and many countries have suspended service:
-Priority Mail two-day service is now 3 days.
-Priority Mail three-day service is now 4 days.
UPS: UPS is experiencing service disruptions in certain countries. As of October 2, 2020, the UPS service guarantee is suspended for all US-origin shipments (domestic and international) at any service level. There are delays in USPS mail and package deliveries to and from certain countries.

DHL: As of October 28, 2020, DHL Express is adding an Emergency Situation Surcharge to most shipments.
We will be offering local curbside pickup for purchases made online starting June 17, 2020. Customers who have selected curbside pickup will be notified when the item is ready for same-day pickup during business hours. Please call upon arrival so we can bring your purchase out to you.
