Prepping for A Current Affair and some sneak peeks!

It's that time again, vintagers, vintagees, vintagites, vintagan, vintagnese!  A Current Affair is going down this weekend in Industry City, in Brooklyn, NY.  And Recess is going to be there!  

A Current Affair is heaven on Earth if you love vintage clothing, shoes, and accessories.  I have yet been to the New York show, but I've been to the one in Downtown LA, located in the Cooper Design Space... it's rows and rows of beautiful fabrics, colors, designs, and they're simply orgasmic on the eyes.  And with over 70 of the best vintage vendors in the U.S, it really is the 'best vintage under one roof'.  Check out their site for more info and tickets.

Getting ready for a show can be a little stressful, but we make it pretty fun here.  Marie always says, "We have nothing to take", you know, just like when a girl says, "I have nothing to wear".  But, when it's all said and done, the collection turns out to be so fabulous and badass, that I fall in love with each piece again and it's a struggle to see her pack them away.  Speaking of packing, we packed suitcases and suitcases of the most exquisite and eclectic pieces for you for this next show.  Shot a little vlog to give you a sneak peek of some of the items that are going.  See below or click here for the full video.  Also, follow us on Instagram at @recessla for more on new arrivals and updates.
